I visited this company having read that they have a lot of cars that are cheap and worked out i could afford the weekly/monthly price. When i visted i found that most of there cars are over priced and what was on their website was not in fact on their forcourt. What a con! I explained several times i just wanted to find out if i woud be accepted on their credit/finance terms as I have had problems in the past. The guy I intially spoke with on the telephone was very friendly and said that if i came down to the site one of the sales team could do a credit check first (although they don’t like to) and find out if i qualify. This was not the case i was rollercoasted into going for test drive without prior explanation, then bullied into signing an ‘order form’ agreeing a monthly price etc, no mention of a credit check or their terms of business i was then left sitting around for nearly two hours with very loud rave music playing and was completely unprofesional. I was then told that i should go home and wait for a call. No expalnation. Two days later i had a call to say that finally they had been accepted for finance but had to reduce the price of the car(ah,,,,never mind)i was asked to come down immediately and show some id etc and i said i couldnt as I was at work and would be in tommorw. I turned up the next day on my luch break and was totally ignored for 20 mins. The office had three young boys in there on their mobile phones having a laugh and shouting…. trying on new suits/jackets that a door to door sales man had brought in….totally dismissive of me waiting to be seen. I finally approched the office and asked if somebody could let me know what was going on….and if i wasn’t seen soon then i would have to go….with that the reply was ‘well if YOUR GOING to be rude… THEN GO see ya then..! I COULD NOT BELEIVE MY EARS….NEEDLESS TO SAY …I GAVE THEM A PIECE OF MY MIND AND THE SALESMAN SAID OKAY GO THEN TA TA …. I WOULD ADVISE ANYBODY EVEN THINKING OF GOING TO FORTNUMS TO STAY WELL CLEAR…Get a push Bike! Unbeielvable THE MOST UNPROFESISONAL COMPANY I HAVE EVER COME ACROSS AND I AM GLAD I REALISED BEFORE IT WAS TOO LATE !!!!
